    ORAT began with thoughts worth keeping that arrived during ordinary life — on drives, on walks, in moments when talking was easier than typing.

    A voice memo can preserve the thought but leave you an editing job later. A generative writing tool can solve the opposite problem by doing too much of the writing for you.

    ORAT tries to live in the middle. Capture what you actually said, decide how much shaping you want, and let that material grow into projects, chapters, and manuscripts.
